5K / 10K

Our 5K/10K cycle-based program is geared toward specific 5 and 10K races and is suitable for beginners aiming to run their first race as well as more experienced runners looking to improve their 5K time or push themselves to the 10K distance.

What's Included


  • A team of experienced, enthusiastic instructors to lead coached runs and available to provide support throughout the program
  • Training plan geared toward a target 5K/10K race
  • Group runs every Tuesday (6:30 PM) and Saturday (8:30 AM)
  • Exclusive access to private running track on 10 Thursday evenings (6:30 PM) throughout cycle
  • Access to Final Surge team account to plan, track and analyze workouts
  • Weekly newsletter with training, nutritional and motivational content
  • Private Facebook group to connect with other members
  • Access to exclusive club social events including end-of-year party
  • Free Newmarket Road Runners Bondi Band for all new members


Recommended Fitness/Experience

At a minimum you must be able to run 2K continuously prior to program start.

Cycle-based training plans are flexible and can be adjusted for a different goal race. Contact us if you have any questions.
